Hi, My Name is Blessing Adefemi.

I'm a passionate and adaptable journalist and multimedia content creator with experience across podcasts, radio and digital media.  I am committed to delivering compelling and reader focused narratives through visual media as both a presenter and documentary maker. I strive to create immersive, visually engaging content with a focus on human storytelling placing the story front and centre.

 

I use a combination of scripting, on-site reporting and visual storytelling techniques. This often incorporates impactful interviewees, archive and natural sounds, and dynamic visuals to bring the story to life. Throughout the production process, I remain audience-focused, always asking: "What will make this story matter to the viewer or listener?" That's why I ensure that every piece I produce leaves the audience with something new to consider, either through entertainment or education, I want to leave an impact. I also stay adaptable, using editing software's like Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition to tailor content across different platforms.

Ultimately, my goal is to inspire and engage examples like my new series “Beyond the Silence” where I take on the quote unquote taboo topics of the world, centering invisible voices at the forefront of real, uncomfortable, and necessary conversations reflect that. Through compelling storytelling and multimedia tools, I aim to bridge the gap between fact and feeling in all the content I produce.
